Exilesoft at FENCA World Congress in Nice (September 2008)
 
Nice and the beautiful French Riviera was this year’s venue for the FENCA World Congress, where approximately 170 professionals from the credit management and debt collection industry around the world met. The delegates shared discussions over issues like industry changes, legislation, best practices, and IT software and services, to mention just a few.

Many participants spent time with us to discuss about our professional software services and how we can support clients with a variety of software platforms ranging from IBM mainframe and Java Open Source systems to Microsoft based solutions. Exilesoft today announced that Ms. Thushara Wijewardena has joined the company as Project Director and will take up position as per 1. October 2008. Thushara is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Graduate member of British Computer Society (BCS). She has 12 years experience in software development, out of which 10 years in Project Management.
 
 
 
Exilesoft signs Software development contract with Berg-Hansen Reisebureau of Norway (August 2008)
 
Exilesoft announced today that it has signed a software development contract with Berg-Hansen Reisebureau AS (BHR) of Norway. BHR is one of Scandinavia’s largest travel & tour operators, specializing in business traveling. Exilesoft will provide business process analysis, onsite workshops, and software development. The contract covers a dedicated software development team, engaged in a project involving all sides of BHR’s commercial Internet based operations.

- It is important for us to keep our leading role in software development for business travelers. Through our contract with Exilesoft we will get professional help to keep this position. Exilesoft recruits Microsoft MVP - MS SQL Server (July 2008)
 
Exilesoft today announced that it has successfully signed on Dinesh Asanka (Database Architect) to its core team of software professionals. Dinesh is one of 9 MVP’s in Sri Lanka, and is one of the country’s best qualified professionals on the Microsoft SQL Server platform. Dinesh is a regular speaker at Microsoft technology briefings, and has written 2 books as well as more than 40 published articles on the subject. Dinesh will be heading the database design and development teams, and is overall responsible for all database architecture within the firm.
 
 
 
Exilesoft signs Software development contract with Humetrica of Norway (June 2008)
 
Exilesoft announced yesterday that it has signed a software development contract with Humetrica, an organizational survey company in Oslo, Norway. The contract has a first year value of about US$300,000. Exilesoft will provide both on-site consultancy in Norway during the autumn of this year, as well as offshore development with a dedicated team of professionals.
 
 
 
Exilesoft moves into the Parkway Building (June 2008)
 
Exilesoft has signed a lease agreement for the two top floors of the Parkway Building, located centrally in Colombo's main business district. The new offices will span a total of 5500 sqf and provide the organization with top modern facilities, as well as ample parking for employees and visitors.
 
 
 
Exilesoft gets BOI approval (May 2008)
 
Exilesoft (Pvt) Limited, a new foreign investment in Sri Lanka, received its BOI approval to commence operations at 15th May 2008. Exilesoft was registered in Sri Lanka in April as a foreing investment, and is targeting the European market with software outsourcing services on the Microsoft .Net platform. Exilesoft plans to recruit some 30 Software engineering professionals during its first phase of operations, to be completed by end summer.
